Every time we have smog/fog pollution I get sick and my skin freaks out. The pollution comes in from China and floats over Korea. It is so gross and makes you feel like crap. People wear face masks that are designed to help against the pollution. It is horrible.
Currently, I am extremely sick. The pollution rolled in yesterday and I have felt like utter garbage since then. It has gotten worse today. Hopefully this cold ends soon and the pollution is gone. BLEH!

Vacation Fun
This past week has been crazy busy for me. Thursday was a friends birthday party. We went out for dinner and then to a Norebang (singing room/karaoke). It was a lot of fun. Then on Friday I went to Seoul for a friends going away party. We were in Hongdae (of course), and we drank the night away. The next day was my friends Sophie's wedding, which was at 11am. It was torture getting up that early but she looked beautiful and the wedding was very nice. Needless to say I was exhausted when I got back to Yeoju that Saturday afternoon.
Although it was a crazy few days, I really enjoyed myself and my newly single status. Getting hit on is the best. ;)

Teachers Trip #2
So we went on anothers teachers trip aftergraduation was finished. We went up north by the east sea, in a town called Sokcho. It was so pretty, with all the snow and white mountains and such. Because we were by the sea we had sushi for dinner. It was great. The next day we went to Yongpyeong Ski Resort and went skiing. It was a good weekend, with me obviously drinking. HA! Never fails. I always end up drunk off of soju. I need to learn to say no. Maybe one day. :D

Korea
http://sweetpicklesandcorn.wordpress.com/2014/01/30/5-things-that-i-specifically-hate-about-korea/
This article is great and I completely agree. I heard hate for Korea when I first moved here and I see it all the time on forums and blogs. People hating on Korea and the way people do things in this country. Yes there are things that drive me nuts but the US is no different (or anywhere in the world for that matter). Korea is Korea and the things that happen here are no different than elsewhere in the world. Sure the lack of snow removal or how they do it drives me crazy but the South is way worse. They have no idea what they are doing. I genuinely love Korea and the many quirks that this country has, be it good or bad. I think my love for Korea steams from the fact that I did a lot of research before picking this country and came with an open mind to everything that would happen to me. For me, Korea is a beautiful country, with beautiful people.
***Also, Segyu and I broke up. We had been together for about 4 months, so it sucks but I will be fine.
