Insadong is a traditional marketplace and homes. The homes are older homes in a traditional Korean style. The area is very affluent today but was once a middle class neighborhood. The traditional market sells all sorts of traditional Korean fair. Like Korean fans, pottery, paintings, food, and other traditionally Korean things. The market also sells handmade art projects as well, so not everything is traditionally Korean.
It was a beautiful Saturday and I walked around a bit and took some nice photos of the old traditional homes. It was seriously breathtaking. These homes are wonderful on the outside, and I can only imagine what they are like on the inside.
