The first official week back to school was last week, however, not much happened with the students because we played a game and didn't really talk much. This week has been different.
Playing a game with my advanced Practical English Class. Throughout the game, a student (whose team was losing really bad) kept saying hilarious little things about the fact that they were losing and when they would gain a point. Here is some of the dialogue:
Teacher, my team is losing!
Teacher, I hate you. (after not getting a point)
Teacher, I love you! (after gaining two points)
Teacher, make the next word easier. This word is too hard. (the next word was 4 letters long: gnaw)
YES! Easy word! (gnaw: they had no idea it wasn't easy...bwahahahaha)
Teacher, I hate you! What is that word?! (after realizing the word was super difficult)
Needless to say his team lost...he was not a happy camper. Ha.
Wednesday, in my second year class, a group of four boys professed their love for me and their wish to marry me.
S1: Teacher, marry me!
S2: I love you teacher!
S1: I dream about marrying you teacher!
S3: Me too! I dream about marrying you!
S4: I love you!
S1234: Marry me! (almost at the same time.)
Needless to say the entire class was laughing and I am standing at the front of the class dumbfounded. I am used to one of them asking me to marry him because it happens almost every week like clockwork but all four joining was something else.
