Things Students Say...3

This week hasn't been filled with a lot of students saying things because I have been showing a movie in class all week.  It is the week before vacation and after finals, who really wants to learn anyways!!  However, I have gotten some gems this week.


After gesturing for a student to come up to me (so he can show me where they were in the movie), he asks:

Student: Why?!  Are you going to kick me?

The funny thing about this is, I always threaten to kick them when they are being little turds and he thought I was actually going to do it.

I told two girl students that I was going on vacation and that I would not be returning to Korea after vacation.  This is what happened:

Me: Vacation is next week, I am so excited!  How about you girls?
Student 1: Very excited but we are doing summer camp so we are studying.
Student 2:  What are you doing teacher?
Me:  I am going to America...actually this is my last week in Korea.  I am going to stay in America, you will never see me again!
Students 1 and 2:  WHAT?!  WHY?!  TEACHER NO!!!
Me:  *laughing*
Student 1:  Teacher, don't leave.  Is it because you are lonely.  Just make a boyfriend.
Student 2:  Yeah, make boyfriend!
Me:  I am not leaving, I am actually doing a Korean city tour.  Don't worry, I resigned my contract!

Got to love being told to make a boyfriend by a bunch of teenagers!  <3 these girls!


The only other things to happen this week were related to students sleeping through class...but not in the normal drool on the desk or sleep pretend work kind of way.  These two were EPIC sleepers!

He is sleeping on the desk...so I stole his glasses!!!

This one looks like someone has been murdered in my classroom!  I swear it wasn't me!
