House Hunting Part 4: The Reveal

Out of the three places I visited last Saturday, I signed a contract with one of them for a year.  The real apartment was not a good option so that one is out, leaving Pine Hill and Royal.

I chose...

Royal!

All of the places I looked at had negative and positive aspects to them.  However, the location of Royal was the absolute best.  Outside my apartment is a park and walking path that I can use with Trixe.  Emart is only 10 minutes walking distance and the school is so close.  I will post photos of my place once I clean and put everything together, in about a month or so.

Fun story time.  The student had given me the information of the real-estate agent who was in charge of the house, so Chan Hee and I went to this office because we definitely wanted to check out the apartment.  We get to the office and tell the agent what area we were looking in and that we wanted to look at this apartment complex.  The agent told us, "No, there are no openings at this apartment," which is when I showed the agent the girls address and had her contact the student.  I knew there was an opening because I had inside information.  Anyways, after we had seen all of the apartments, the agent was talking to Chan Hee about the apartments.  She said that Royal was near impossible to get into and that even she didn't know there was an opening in the apartment and I was extremely lucky to know someone who was moving out.  Basically, I was lucky that my co-worker found out about this available apartment and that the student only told me about it!

I am really excited to start this new journey in my life, in a new city, and at a new job, with my new apartment.  Things are slowly falling into place, so my stress level is going down.

Here are two links to show what the apartment looks like, these are not my apartment but they give you a good idea of what the apartment will look like.
