Candy and Children

In order to encourage the students to talk in class and actively participate in the group games I have been handing out candy to either the winning team or students.  Well word has gotten around that I have candy and I get all sorts of cute little English phrases from my students.  Yesterday one of the boys was like, "teacher you are so beautiful, I candy."  I obviously said no but thank you for calling me pretty.  They kept trying to get candy by complementing me, so I told them that they had to win the game tomorrow during class, and then they would get the candy.  Well their team won, so they got candy.  The one who kept complementing me yesterday, started at it again today.  He wanted more candy.  It is seriously so cute.  I have also been proposed to in order to get candy.  "teacher marry you, candy please!"  I seriously love these kids and the things they do in order to get candy.  :D
