Emo Hair?

On my way home tonight I saw a hair salon.  Normally I think nothing of shops and their names, just laughing at the occasionally funny English.  However, tonight I could not stop myself from laughing and wondering if they realize what emo represents.  I understand that sometimes slang is lost on ESL individuals (at least until they are comfortable with the language) but it was a fun sign.  :D
